Meet your Lulalu Lady for the month of April, Kitty (@kittyunderhillx)!

Q: Tell us about yourself!

A: I’m Kitty Underhill (pronouns she/her) and I am a model, speaker, and body and self-acceptance coach!

What makes me, me is my passion—I have an open heart, love hard, and I’m passionate about helping others see how magnificent they were all along with my online advocacy work and my coaching. I also love nonsense, silly humor, and finding joy and shimmers in my every day.

Q: Is there an important challenge you've faced and conquered?

A: A challenge I faced and conquered was learning how to feel at home in my body and going from accepting having Tubular Breast Syndrome to celebrating it!

On my body acceptance journey, I felt like my chest was the last thing I was able to accept because I felt mismatched—as a curvy girl I was meant to have boobs, right? An accidental Google resulted in me understanding that I have Tubular Breast Syndrome, a little-known condition that affects the shape and development of the breasts.

From here, I finally knew why my chest felt different, but then I saw that all the Google results were telling me I had a ‘deformity' that needed to be ‘fixed’. It was heartbreaking! This experience made me create the #TotallyTubular campaign to raise awareness about the condition and show others who have it that they are not alone, that they deserve to love their chests too and certainly don’t need fixing.

Q: How has Lulalu positively impacted your life?

A: It’s been so great to finally find a brand that fits both my band and my cup size! It’s been an eternal struggle trying to find a bra that genuinely fits well and is gorgeous as well. My favorite is the Callie bra—sexy and comfy!
